- The group continues to strategize on how to deal with the Maelstrom. A consensus is not reached, but we asscent to deal with this as soon as possible.
|

- The group heads to meet with [[Octavia]] and [[Halwin]].
|

- [[Metternich]] and [[Octavia]] chat briefly about the journey into and out of the city.
|
|
- The group heads to a more discreet location to chat further.
|
|
- The group heads back to the temple with the Maelstrom to try and dispel it.
|
|
- Kite, Metternich and Val work through dismantling the altar, and tossing at least parts of it into the Maelstrom.
|
|
- Faylen and Calen fortify the area, and summon what magic they are able to in order to weaken the Maelstrom.
|
|
- Some other things happen, but after awhile the group is satisfied with their efforts and attempts one last push to dispel the Maelstrom. It it eventually determined that Calen will be the primary caster for this ritual - and with the support of everyone (and some cookie points!) we are able to critically dispel the Maelstrom.
|
|
- After the fact, all that is left is a giant hole in the ground - but the maelstrom itself is gone.
|
